As the seasons change so too the weather changes, encouraging the slumber of some plants and the complete death of their life cycle for others. Daylight hours shorten, the dark lengthens and the cold crisp of winter’s chill gracefully frosts every thing it touches. The chrysanthemums are in full bloom while the last of the stubborn dandelions persist in the ever greening grass. Water freezes.. the ground gets crunchy and pets need extra attention during these times. Dwellings outside the main house should be water proofed and closed off from the arctic winds we get here. Adding a warming light and maybe a scrap of carpet to lay on can mean the difference between life and death for our fur/feather babies during the cold seasons. Stay vigilante, stay safe and stay warm my friend.. The only constant in life is change and the weather will absolutely do that.
